COAST GUARD RESCUED A DROWNING FOREIGNER AND A LOCAL FEMALE IN TWO RESCUE ATTEMPS

The Life Savers attached to Coast Guard Life Saving Posts, Panadura and Mirissa saved an Indian national and a local female during successful rescue attempts on 13th April 2021.

A 36-year-old Indian national was rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Panadura beach whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Panadura Beach. Another 16 years old female was also rescued by Coast Guard life savers at Mirissa Beach.
