SRI LANKA COAST GUARD RECEIVED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT FROM AUSTRALIAN BORDER FORCE

SLCG has received Information Technology Equipment from Australian Border Force (ABF) which will assist in delivering training and development programme in the Coast Guard. The delegation of Australian Border Force led by Inspector Brett Zehnder, First Secretary of Australian Border Force (ABF) officially handed over items to Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake Director General Coast Guard at the SLCG Rear Headquarters, Wellewatte on 24th June 2022.

For this gifting ceremony Inspector Vanessa Bell, International Operations and Coordination of ABF, Captain Janitha Buddhika, Commanding officer SLCG Waruna and Staff Officer Training, Lieutenant Commander Shirmal Alahakoon form SLCG also attended. The received IT equipment will be used for the mobile training activities in the SLCG and it will immensely useful to uplift the training capacities in the SLCG.
