Cleaning Campaign at Dikovita Fishery Harbour

Coast Guard personnel attached to the SLCG Waruna participated in an environment cleaning programme at the Dikovita fishery harbour on 07^th July.

The cleaning programme was aimed at removing dengue mosquito breeding grounds and removal of other waste material inside the harbour premises. Fishermen living in the close proximity to the harbour also participated in the event.

Coast Guard continues to organize similar events in respective areas to make sure the environment is kept clean.
