THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED GENERAL MESS, MAIN GALLEY AND THE VICTUALLING STORES AT SRI LANKA COAST GUARD STATION ‘KIRINDA’ WAS DECLARED OPEN

The newly constructed General Mess, Main Galley and the Victualling Stores at Sri Lanka Coast Guard Station ‘Kirinda’ was declared open on 12thApril 2018 by the Director General Coast Guard, RAdm GDAS Wimalathunge on the invitation of Commanding Officer SLCG Rohana Commander SR Roopasena. The building was constructed to uplift the living standards of the Coast Guard personnel and was a long felt need.

The Director General took the opportunity to deliver a speech of appreciation to admire the dedication of Coast Guard personnel involved in this construction project including the OIC Coast Guard Station ‘Kirinda’, LCdr KNP Perera and Coast Guard Civil Engineering Officer, Lt (CE) RATD Rajapaksha.
