SLCG ARRESTED SEVEN FISHERMEN WITH WHITE TIP SHARK FINS AND DRY FISH

Fishing Monitoring team of CGS Dikovita arrested seven fishermen with 1.8kg of Ocean White Tip Shark fins and 19.6kg of shark dry fish on 1st July 2018 at Dikovita fishery harbour. Fishing trawler ‘Heshan 6’ returned to Dikovita fishing harbour on 1stJuly 2018 and during the inspection by SLCG found above shark dry fish and fins hide in the engine room compartment.

Arrested persons were handed over to fishery inspectors at Dikovita fishery harbour with arrested fins and dry fish legal action.
