LIEUTENANT COMMANDER MACP ABEWARDENA AND LIEUTENANT COMMANDER KMP PERERA TAKE OVER COMMAND OF NEW FPVS

Lieutenant Commander MACP Abewardena and Lieutenant Commander KMP Perera took over the command of newly built Fast Patrol vessels (FPV) which was donated by the government of Japan at the Commissioning Ceremony of two FPVs, Sri Lanka Coast Guard Ship Samudra Raksha and Sri Lanka Coast Guard Ship Samaraksha, which was held in Port of Colombo on 29thAugust 2018.

Both Commanding Officers received Commissioning Warrants of two ships from the State Minister of Defence, Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
