SRI LANKA COAST GUARD WAS AWARDED GOLDEN TROPHY FOR THE OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE ACHIEVED IN HIGH LEVEL COMPLIANCE WITH THE FINANCIAL REGULATIONS AND PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES IN THE FINANCIAL YE

The Committee on Public Accounts of the Parliament has recognized Sri Lanka Coast Guard as one of the state institutions which has achieved a high level of performance for compliance with the financial regulations and performance guidelines for the financial year 2017. A Golden trophy along with a certificate of recognition for the same was received by the Rear Admiral Samantha Wimalathunge, RWP, VSV, USP, nswc, MSc (DS) Mgt Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard at the Awarding Ceremony held at BMICH on 05th July 2019.

The Sri Lanka Coast Guard is always maintaining its highest commitment to compliance with financial regulations and guidelines while performing departmental duties and development programs to its fullest extent to provide better service to the nation.
