DEFENCE SECRETARY BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING DG COAST GUARD

The outgoing Director General, Rear Admiral Samantha Wimalathunge paid a farewell call on the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry of Defence, on 29th September 2020.

At the occasion, the Defence Secretary praised the services of the outgoing Director General and bade farewell to Rear Admiral Samantha Wimalathunge. The Outgoing Director General also extended his warm wishes to the Defence secretary and the ministry for the success in all future endeavours. The mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion.
