Lieutenant Commander Indika Ekanayake assumed duties as the new commanding officer of SLCGS Samudra Raksha

Lieutenant Commander Indika Ekanayake assumed duties as the new commanding officer of the SLCG Fast Patrol Vessel SLCGS Samudra Raksha on 15th February 2021.

The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Lieutenant Commander Lakruwan Jinasena officially handed over the duties to his successor at the Port of Galle.

The Deputy Director General – Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Commodore Asanga Ranasuriya was present on the occasion as Chief Guest of the ‘Change of Command Ceremony’. The procedure of the event came to a close after the inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
