SLCG FACILITATES A JET SKI OPERATOR TRAINING FOR LIFEGUARDS

Sri Lanka Coast Guard Training Directorate arranged a Jet Ski operator training programme for SLCG lifesavers. The programme was conducted at Life Saving Training School (LSTS) Balapitiya on 8^th and 9^th June 2021. The training was mainly focused on educating and training Lifesavers on practical operation and maintenance of Jet Ski. Twenty-nine lifesavers joined the programme from East, West and South regions and gained professional knowledge in handling Jet Ski at sea. The training program was conducted by the instructors of Sri Lanka Navy Jet Ski and Motorsport Pool. The Director Training of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard was also present to observe the proceedings of the training.
