COAST GUARD RESCUED TWO DROWNING FOREIGNERS AT HIKKADUWA BEACH

The Life Savers attached to Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Hikkaduwa rescued two Russians, during successful rescue attempts on 29th October 2021.

A 47 years old Russian male and 21 years old Russian female were rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Hikkaduwa beach whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Hikkaduwa Beach.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard life savers have rescued a total of 1588 invaluable lives including 705 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
