DELEGATION FROM INSTITUTE OF SECURITY GOVERNANCE OF USA CALL ON DIRECTOR GENERAL SRI LANKA COAST GUARD

A delegation from Institute of Security Governance (ISG) of USA and officials of US embassy in Colombo call on the Director General Coast Guard Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake on 17^th November 2021 at Coast Guard Rear Headquarters, Colombo 6.

After exchange of pleasantries, the Director General Coast Guard and US officials held discussions on several important matters of bilateral nature. Maritime information sharing, maritime human resource management, maritime strategic planning and maritime rule of law were the main areas of discussion. DG SLCG conveyed appreciation for the long-term training assistance extended to SLCG by the US government and US embassy in Colombo.

Meantime, the Chief of the Office of Defence Cooperation of US embassy in Colombo Commander Ross Peters paid his farewell call before leaving Sri Lanka.
