THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE SRI LANKA COAST GUARD PAID A COURTESY CALL ON THE ACTING HIGH COMMISSIONER OF THE SRI LANKAN HIGH COMMISSION IN THE MALDIVES

The Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake, who is on an official visit to the Maldives, paid a courtesy call on the Acting High Commissioner His Excellency D Amanulla at the Sri Lankan High Commission in Male’, Maldives on 20^th November 2021.

Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake is on an official visit to the Maldives at the invitation of the Chief of Defence Force of the Maldives National Defence Force to participate in the 15^th Edition of Trilateral Coast Guard Joint Exercise ‘DOSTI’. The Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard expressed his gratitude to the Acting High Commissioner for providing assistance for the visit of SLCGS Suraksha, the flag ship of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to the Maldives. Further, mementoes were exchanged to mark the significance of the event.
