The Life Savers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Life Saving Post, at Panadura had rescued a 17 years old male resident of Piliyandala, during a successful rescue mission on 21st November 2021. He was rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Panadura Beach and subsequently transferred to Base Hospital Panadura for further treatments.
So far, Sri Lanka ‘Coast Guard Life Savers’ have rescued a total of 1598 invaluable lives including 706 foreigners during aforesaid successful rescue missions.
