COAST GUARD RESCUED TWO DROWNING FOREIGNERS AT BENTHOTA BEACH

The Life Savers attached to Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Benthota rescued two Russians, during successful rescue attempts on 27th November 2021.

A 48 years old Russian male and 45 years old Russian female were rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Benthota beach whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Benthota beach.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard life savers have rescued a total of 1602 valuable lives including 709 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
