COAST GUARD RESCUED THREE BOYS FROM DROWNING AT MT LAVINIA BEACH

The Lifesavers attached to Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Mt Lavinia beach saved three boys during successful rescue attempts on 09^th February 2022.

Three boys (16 years old) from Rathmalana were rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Mt Lavinia beach whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Mt Lavinia beach.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers have rescued a total of 1654 invaluable lives including 718 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
