COAST GUARD RESCUED FOUR LOCALS FROM DROWNING AT BENTHOTA BEACH

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Benthota beach saved four local males during successful rescue attempts on 27^th February 2022.

Four local males from Beruwala were rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Benthota beach whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Benthota beach.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers have rescued a total of 1670 invaluable lives including 726 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
