MERITORIOUS ACTIVITY HELD AT MYLIDDY MUNAIYAN VALAVU MURUGAN KOVIL

In parallel with the series of religious programmes held by the SLCG in view of the 12th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard, a special Hindu 'Pooja' was conducted by SLCG personnel in Northern Region at the Myliddy Munaiyan Valavu Murugan Kovil on 13th March 2022 in accordance with Hindu traditions. Blessings were invoked for all members of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard and their families, and the ceremony was held in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines. The event was graced by the Commodore Uditha Kasiwatta, the Deputy Area Commander - Northern Naval Area, Captain Pradeepa Kodippili, Regional Director - Coast Guard Northern Region, officers and SLCG personnel from the Coast Guard Northern Region.
