ANOTHER LIFESAVING JOINT TRAINING COURSE SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

Succeeding joined training course was conducted for tri services personnel to improve the interoperability among military services to act in collaboration for ensure water safety and drowning prevention in the country

During the training period swimming skills, water safety and drowning first aid techniques were proficiently developed and modules related to water rescue were practiced using a variety of aids and training equipment. The training course was concluded in a charming ceremony on 02nd June 2022 where 05 Sri Lanka Army candidates, 09 seamen from various fleet units and 10 Airmen were regards to be qualified in lifesaving Basic and Resuscitation Level after assessing their competencies for aquatic accident response

More lifesaving training opportunities have been allocated for SLN under the directives of Director General SLCG in view of building confidence among the service personnel to make them qualified for contributing in various capacities to reduce the aquatic accident incidents in the country
