COAST GUARD RESCUED TWO FEMALE FROM DROWNING AT MT-LAVINIA BEACH

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Life Saving Post, MT-Lavinia beach rescued two local females during successful rescue operation on 05^th June 2022.

22 years old two local female from Weherayaya and Beliaththa was rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Mt-Lavinia beach whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Mt Lavinia beach. The swift responses by skilled lifesavers of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard managed to bring back hope for drowning persons despite heavy current prevailed in the area.
