COAST GUARD RESCUED A MALE FROM DROWNING AT PANADURA BEACH

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Panadura beach rescued a local male during successful rescue operation on 13^th June 2022.

15 years old local male from Ingiriya was rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Panadura beach whilst drowning at sea. The swift responses by skilled lifesavers of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard managed to bring back hope for drowning persons despite heavy current prevailed in the area.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers have rescued a total of 1722 invaluable lives including 749 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
