COAST GUARD RESCUED THREE PERSONS FROM DROWNING AT DONDRA BEACH

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Special Lifesaving Post, Dondra beach saved three persons during successful rescue attempt on 06th August 2022.

Three men, aged 63, 34 and 57 years old, resident of the Dondra area, were rescued by the Coast Guard at the Dondra beach.

The swift responses by skilled lifesavers of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard managed to bring back hope for these drowning persons despite the heavy current prevailing in the area.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers have rescued a total of 1733 invaluable lives including 751 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
