COAST GUARD RESCUED THREE LOCAL PERS AT RISK OF DROWNING

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Life Saving Posts Bentota rescued three local male during two successful rescue attempts on 10 ^th Sep 2022.

19 ,21 years and 23 years old males from Welipenna and Kothmale was rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Bentota beach whilst drowning and dragging away by currents.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers have rescued a total of 1746 invaluable lives including 752 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
