THE ADVANCE TRAINING CENTRE KIRINDA CONDUCTED BEACH CLEANING PROGRAMME

Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) Advanced Training Centre Kirinda organized and conducted a beach cleaning programme on 27^th September 2022 at the famous Kirinda Vihara Mahadevi Temple beach in conjunction with the International Coastal Clean up programme. The event was conducted from 0800 h to 1000 h with the participation of SLCG personnel, staff of the Hambanthota District office of the Marine Environment Protection Authority (MEPA) and Jetwing Yala Hotel. The programme successfully ended up with the collecting of 50 Nos of garbage bags.
