COAST GUARD ARRESTED A PERSON WITH NARCOTICS

Coast Guard personnel attached to the Fishing Monitoring Point Beruwala has arrested a person who was in possession of Heroin in the Beruwala Fishery Harbour on 26^th October 2022.

At the time of the arrest, the Coast Guard personnel found 160mg of Heroin in the suspect's possession. The 25-year-old suspect, is a resident of the Beruwala area. The arrested suspect and apprehended items were handed over to the Police Station, Beruwala for further investigations/ Legal action.
