COAST GUARD ARRESTED A PERSON WITH NARCOTICS

Coast Guard personnel attached to the Coast Guard Station Beruwala arrested a person in possession of Kerala Cannabis onboard a Fishing Vessel at the Beruwala Fishery Harbour on 31^st October 2022.

During the arrival formalities Coast Guard personnel carried out a thorough search onboard the fishing vessel, found 95.2 g of Kerala Cannabis concealed inside the fishing vessel.

The arrested suspect and apprehended items were handed over to the Police Station, Beruwala for further investigations/ legal action.
