SLCG HEADQUARTERS CONDUCTED AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON DRUG PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT

An awareness programme on drug prevention and management was conducted at Sri Lanka Coast Guard Headquarters, Mirissa for SLCG personnel on 10^th November 2022. The progarmme was conducted by Assistant Drugs Education and Information Officer (Galle District) Ms. KHM Maduwanthi from National Dangerous Drugs Control Board. The event was focused to educate SLCG personnel on identification, prevention and management of various types of drugs commonly used in the country followed by a discussion on current issues faced by law enforcement agencies in drug control. The programme was organized by the Training Directorate under the guidance of Director General of Sri Lanka Coast Guard.
