COAST GUARD RESCUED TWO LOCALS FROM DROWNING

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Lifesaving Post, Mount Lavinia beach saved two locals during a successful rescue attempt on 20^th November 2022.

An 18-year-old two locals were rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Mount Lavinia lifesaving post whilst drowning at sea. The quick response by skilled Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers managed to save these two young boys.

Up to now, Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers have rescued a total of 1774 invaluable lives including 765 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
