COAST GUARD RESCUED A LOCAL FROM DROWNING

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Lifesaving Post, Pasikuda beach saved a local during a successful rescue attempt on 21st November 2022.

A 64-year-old local lady was rescued by Coast Guard rescuers at Pasikuda lifesaving post whilst drowning at sea. Up to now, Sri Lanka Coast Guard life savers have rescued a total of 1779 invaluable lives including 765 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts around the country.
