COAST GUARD ARRESTED A PERSON WITH NARCOTICS

Coast Guard personnel attached to the Coast Guard Station Beruwala arrested a person in possession of Kerala Cannabis onboard a Fishing Vessel at the Beruwala Fishery Harbour on 02^nd December 2022.

During the departure formalities, Coast Guard personnel carried out a thorough search onboard the fishing vessel and found 25g of Kerala Cannabis concealed inside the fishing vessel.

The arrested suspect and apprehended items were handed over to the Police Station, Beruwala for further investigations/ Legal action.
