On 26th December 2022, two officers, five senior sailors, and fifteen junior sailors completed the fourth training course for newly joined Coast Guard personnel at the Advanced Training Center Kirinda. The course was extended to 28 working days. The training modules included Acquaintance training, search and rescue, maritime law enforcement and boarding officer, maritime disaster prevention and oil spill response, and RHIB operator. In addition to the coast guard personnel, renowned specialists from eleven agencies presented lectures on the legal operations of the coast guard. The 4th Training Module was inaugurated on 23rd November 2022 under the direction of the Officer in Command of the CGS Kirinda. The training module was successfully terminated on 26th December 2022, and awarded certificates to all the course participants.
