DIRECTOR GENERAL OF SRI LANKA COAST GUARD PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT

Rear Admiral Pujitha Vithana, Director General of Sri Lanka Coast Guard made his first official courtesy call on President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Ranil Wickremesinghe at the President's Office on 25^th January 2023.

During the formal visit, Rear Admiral Pujitha Vithana extended his best wishes to the His Excellency Ranil Wickremesinghe, the 8th Executive President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. A cordial discussion was held between the President and the Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard and assured the commitment and continues support of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard for ensuring the security, safety and protection of the marine environment of the Maritime Zones of Sri Lanka to uphold the national security, national economy and national integrity.

In accordance with the customs and traditions, the Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard presented a memento to H.E. the President during the occasion.
