The Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) released 35 numbers of newly hatched sea turtles into the sea from Mirissa Beach on 27^th June 2023. These turtles are released to the sea where retrieved eggs are conserved near lifesaving posts close to the natural habitat of the turtles.
