Director General of Sri Lanka Coast Guard Pays Courtesy Call on Deputy Minister of Defence

Rear Admiral Rajapriya Serasinghe, Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG), paid a courtesy call on Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd.), the Hon. Deputy Minister of Defence, on 10^th December 2024 at his office.

During the courtesy call, the Hon. Deputy Minister and Director General exchanged views on enhancing operational capabilities, maritime safety, environmental protection initiatives, and addressing emerging maritime challenges.

Rear Admiral Serasinghe reaffirmed the SLCG's commitment to supporting national security and emphasized ongoing efforts to strengthen capacity building through training and technological advancements.

At the end of the discussion, Director General - SLCG presented a memento to the Hon. Deputy Minister.
