BEACH CLEANING PROGRAMME

Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) is steadfast in its commitment to ensuring a safe, secure and serene sea. With marine pollution emerging as a significant concern, CG personnel from Sri Lanka Coast Guard organized a beach cleaning program at Mirissa Beach area on 21st January 2025. Director General Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Commanding Officer SLCG Rohana and several local residents also participated for the event to preserve the coastal ecosystem.
