The Lifesavers attached to Coast Guard Lifesaving Post, Mirissa rescued four foreigners, during a successful rescue attempt on 06^th October 2022. Two males (30 & 29 years old) from Russia and another two males (34 & 30 years old) from Kazakhstan were rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Mirissa beach.
