The Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake awarded Letters of Commendation to five Coast Guard lifesavers in recognition of their exceptional performance in rescuing civilian lives endangered due to drowning in an exemplary manner, whilst performing duties as active lifesavers during the period under review from 01st January to 29th December 2021.
