COAST GUARD RESCUED A BOY AT RISK OF DROWNING AT PASIKUDA BEACH

The Life Savers attached to the Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Pasikuda rescued a 14 years old boy resident of Eravur, during a successful rescue attempt on 01st December 2021. He was rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near to Pasikuda beach.

The swift responses by skilled life savers of the Coast Guard managed to bring back hope for the drowning boy despite heavy current prevailed in the area.

So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard life savers have rescued a total of 1603 invaluable lives including 709 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts along Sri Lankan coast.
