SLCG CONCLUDED THE FIRST TRAINING PROGRAMME OF RHIB FAMILIARIZATION SUCCESSFULLY AT ATC KIRINDA-2022
PREAMBLE
The advanced training centre (ATC- Kirinda) of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) conducted the first RHIB familiarization Course for SLCG one officer and three junior sailors. All the trainees were able to successfully completed the course from 25th April 2022 to 04th May 2022 in the Advanced Training Centre at Kirinda.
CONDUCT
Training was conducted by two instructors from UNODC at Kirinda fishery harbour. The aim of this course was to give a more confidence, knowledge about RHIB handling and controlling the boat in a professional way. Duration of the RHIB Familiarization course was 10 days. Concentration was given for practical training.
