SLCG plans to establish ashore bases island wide and to enhance the fleet unit strength to perform activities in connection with their functions effectively. Ashore bases of SLCG have been already established in Chilaw, Dikovita, Wellawatte, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Panadura, Beruwela, Aluthgama, Balapitiya, Ambalangoda, Mirissa, Kirinda, Oluvil and Kankesanthurai.
